There’s something about “mini” sized things that really get me excited! Is it because I also come in “mini” size? Quite possibly 😎
I take a trip to Jacksonville, Florida about every month or two because of my Orthodontic treatment. On this trip I had my braces finally taken off after 3 long years! I immediately wanted to celebrate with something sweet. Over the years Jacksonville is becoming more and more on trend, not quite as hip as Miami but well that takes time.
The Mini Bar is a new donut and coffee joint at the beach that also serves wine and beer. Who doesn’t love some booze with their sweets!?
For a donut shop it’s actually quite big! Has a ton of outside room to relax in the sunshine and at night it looks extremely aesthetic when the overhead lights come on. Not to mention the wall art!
The inside is just as spacious with a couch in the waiting area, plenty of inside tables and seats but also the option to sit at the “bar”.
One of the most important things in my book when it comes to aesthetic cafes and shops is to have some kind of photo prop and lights seem to be a big thing right now! Social media is a driving force for a lot of businesses in Florida and if you don’t have something post worthy well chances are you won’t be posted about. That’s why this life size “TREAT YO’SELF” sign is amazing!
Now on to the actual mini donuts! Prices here are reasonable in my opinion, for a 16 count I paid around 14$. The donuts themselves are made to order and are DELICIOUS with so many topping options to choose from! My favorites were the Peanut Butter Cup and the Sea Salt Caramel which is a collaboration with Sweet Pete’s Downtown.
What are you favorite donut flavors? Are you bold or classic?

I love the look of the shop and will have to put it down as a place to visit when I go to Florida! The donuts look AMAZING and while I enjoy the classics, the bold ones are bomb! There is a place back in my hometown called Duck Donuts I believe that makes them fresh to order and you create what you want from glaze, to toppings, drizzled etc. It was amazing and I thought “this is dangerous” hahaha! Loved the post!

I wouldn’t reccomend anyone to visit Jacksonville unless you don’t mind being stuck in the “Bible Belt” lol There’s way more interesting food places in Orlando and Miami!! But if you just happen to be here, this is a nice spot ❤
