Valentines Date(ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

I won’t make this too sappy but I wanted to let you guys in on what my husband and I did for Valentines day this year! Since we’ve moved to Gainesville, between my new job and my husband’s school it’s been hard to take moments together.

My husband isn’t normally the romantic-type but this year he really tried! My love languages are ( Words of affirmation, Receiving gifts and Acts of service ). He’s really amazing naturally at Acts of service, I can always count on him! But this year he went a step further and it didn’t go unnoticed.

He sent flowers and chocolates to my place of work which I always thought was a sweet  gesture. I’ve seen co-workers in the past receive this kind of affirmation and it felt so good to have it happen to me too.

He also had dinner booked at a local French bistro! Lately we have been doing French dining for special occasions. Something about escargot and wine really make the moment!

It was really nice and cozy there and I hope we can set aside more time in the future to have these small moments.

Did you spend Valentines with a significant other? Gal pals? Or with your fur baby?

  1. What a lovely day! My love languages are physical touch, words of affirmation, and quality time.💖 If you’d like to read more about my posts on relationships and much more, check out my blog! —https://emilyryannblogblog.wordpress.com/
