Absolutely awestruck! To be honest I’ve never tried a primer that I really adored, so this is like a first love feeling. It was definitely an impulse buy on a trip to Sephora. I initially went there for a sample of the new YSL All Hours foundation and saw it sitting on the K-Beauty shelf. The first thing that drew me in was the packaging! Then the really affordable price, it seemed out of place at Sephora. I’m used to spending around 30$+ for primers from brands like Benefit, Hourglass, Becca and so forth. I, myself, have never tried a really good Korean primer. The ones I have tried have not been oily/combo friendly either. Needless to say I was really intrigued and didn’t have a second thought about purchasing.

For some reason I was expecting it to come out creamy, kind of like the Porefessional primer. It was much more watery..

I’m taking it rated R here for a second but it looked like uh…

ANYWAY! I was concerned at first that this might not be friendly with my oily/combo skin. But it really was! and it left my face feeling very soft and smooth. Now, if you apply it by itself you won’t really see any reduction in pores or fine lines. But it’s how it works with foundation that really took my breathe away. It really made my pores look so much smaller to basically non existent, which was amazing because your girl has some large pores around the cheek area. As far as scent, I couldn’t tell and if there was one it wasn’t strong enough for me to notice. It’s also under 3 oz, which means it’s travel friendly. This one is definitely coming to Korea with me!

4 out of 5 stars

I took one star off because if you don’t apply any base over it you won’t really see any change. Aside from feeling a soft, smooth face.

I love it too, I use it like every other day.. I have been using it everyday because I ran out of my Toofaced Hangover primer. This primer does break me out though, as much as I love it and how good it works mu skin hates it! Other than that I highly recommend this primer!

I have only tried one Korean primer before. It’s by The Face Shop I think but I can’t remember the name. Blur primer or something like that? I think it was nice but it was at a time when I was starting out with makeup so I wasn’t familiar with anything!

This sounds promising though so will have it noted! 😉

Haha thanks! I think it’s like a loofa but it’s too cute to use, my sister in law gave it to me when she came to visit. I’m currently switching between the YSL All Hours when I need full coverage and the Bobbi Brown Skin Cushion when I prefer lighter. I also use different ones for when I hit the gym 😆❤️
